4-6 people:
1 jar matjes flavoured herring, 550g
8 boiled potatoes, cold
4 boiled eggs
1 small red onion
1 small leek
1 cup sour creme
4 tablespoons mayo
4 tablespoons cod roe creeme
white pepper
spring onion for decoration
1. Chop the eggs and potation into cubes. Chop the herring and red onion. Slice the leek thinly. Mix all in a large bowl.
2. Mix sour creme with mayo and cod roe creme. Add some white pepper.
3. Add the sour creme mix to the herring and onion bowl. Mix carefully. Decorate with spring onion.
4. Serve as is or on a slice of Kavring bread or Crips bread.
