Mothers day

Mothers day is coming up this weekend, don't forget to call home if you have parents in Denmark, Finland, Iceland or New Zealand.
Mothers day in Sweden on the 27 May. Norway has already celebrated their Mums on the Second Sunday of February but they have their own very special day coming - 17 May!

Bullens pilsner sausage - Beer Sausage.

Bullen is a nickname for a person, the actor Erik "Bullen" Berglund, who was also known for his skills in the kitchen.
Bullens Beer Sausage is a Vienna Style Sausage which should be "boiled" not fried or cooked on the BBQ. However, you shouldn't actually boil them, just heat them in their brine for best result.
Bullens Beer Sausage has become a classic in the Swedish household and an essential for outings such as ski trips, going to the Bach, camping trips etc.
