SweNZ Taste 3 years!

It's hard to believe it's 3 years since we opened SweNZ Taste. As with every Scandinavian 3-year old Birthday party this needs to be celebrated with a "fiskdamm" (fishing pond) game. With every order for the month of September we give away a random gift, fished out from our bargain bin.

 

 

Xmas sneak peak?! Want to take a sneak peak at all the lovely items arriving from Scandinavia for Christmas?

Giveaway!

One of our customers has given us a fantastic birthday gift - for us to give away to one of our lucky customers. It's a brand new Samsung Galaxy s3 case in leather with the Swedish Flag in retro style. There is 2 ways to enter the draw. This month’s featured product:

Øllebrød is a traditional Danish dish - a type of porridge made of rugbrød scraps and malt or beer, typically hvidtøl. A thrifty dish, it makes it possible to use the rest of the bread scraps so that nothing is wasted. The idea originated from monastic living, when monks would dip their bread into hot beer.

Struer Øllebrød Pulver is a delicious Danish rye bread porridge. Just add water and microwave for 3 mins at 800W (and stir after 1 minute) and you have a nutritious hot breakfast that will set you up for the day.It is high in fiber, low in fat and it has a slightly tart taste. It’s a solid meal which leaves you with a sensation of fullness and you often see it feed to babies.
